......So many days have gone by and it seems that we have been on the web for about 6 months and people from 28 countries have looked at our information. We have received some exciting messages and even phone calls from people who have an interest in setting up businesses. That's very good since not everyone is willing or able to make their own.

This year we hope to find (for us here in the USA), a vegetarian angel who can help us get the resources to set up a Betsy's Tempeh "College". Do you know anyone like that ?

It would really be helpful to set up a prototype facility, do some research and tinkering to find the right machinery and train in tempeh makers who could then take it to all the cities in this country. We are still thinking of "small is beautiful" for designing a production unit - two or three people/owners/operators. It would probably best operate as a Coop or franchise operation to get the savings in the raw materials and packaging etc. It would also link everyone together to exchange ideas and recipes and thus help make Betsy's Tempeh a well known item everywhere.
